UWE is a Tanzanian social educational business that creates learning materials suitable for all ages from young learners to adults. Our products range from puzzles, flash cards and board games.

UWE products are inspired by Montessori teaching methods, and aim to build cognitive skills, problem solving skills, team building skills, hand eye coordination and an understanding of Tanzanian and African heritage.

Mission: Promote Tanzania and Africa’s history and heritage through learning materials

UWE is a family organisation whose vision is to make learning about Tanzania and Africa fun. UWE aims to promote Tanzanian and African heritage through learning materials which build key essential skills to supplement learning abilities.

UWE also aims to support local and regional businesses and entrepreneurs by sourcing 95% of its materials from within Tanzania and Africa. From the design process, through production and packaging UWE products are truly “Designed and Made in Tanzania”.
